Detailed Description:
You do not get much more Santa Fe style than in this charming house just a 13 minute walk (.6 miles) North of the towns historic center, the Plaza. A gas-burning Kiva fireplace accents the living room. Covered viga ceilings and tile floors grace your home. Hand trolled plaster walls add to the warmth of Casa Kiva. So lovingly furnished and appointed, you are going to feel incredibly comfortable in your home away from home. Casa Kiva is flooded with natural light in every direction (one of the advantages of newer construction in Santa Fe) The open floor plan invites family and friends to gather in comfort. The living room is open to the kitchen and dining room yet tastefully divided at the same time. There is a comfortable queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The Master has a king-bed with a full bath and the second bathroom has a King bed with a full bath near-by in the hallway. Beautiful linens, high-end leather furnishings help you know you are a special guest in this home. Not to many Santa Fe homes can boast a carport, but this one does. How about a flat screen TV in every room! French doors open to the back yard which is spacious, secluded and inviting. You will have to sacrifice a dinner in one of our fine restaurants to barbecue on the gas grill for some fresco dining.

This home qualifies for a 15% discount for active members of the military (must book over the phone with Two Casitas).

We stayed at Kava Casita for a long sisters weekend. There was plenty of room for the four of us. The house was very clean with easy walking access to shopping and restaurants. It was a great trip!!

We recently stayed 5 nights and found it to be such a relaxing and quiet place. The Casita was very clean and had all the little extra's that made our stay enjoyable. We did bring our own coffee but having half and half provided in the refrigerator was a plus. The place is decorated in the southwestern decor especially loved the gas Kiva. The skylights in both bathrooms a plus. No need to turn lights on in the morning. The location is very quiet. We did not get to enjoy the enclosed patio or the grill as we were always out and about. It's a short walk to the Plaza and to a really good French cafe. Only used our car to go to the Farmer's Market. Can't say enough good things about our stay. Highly recommend this charming Casita and would certainly love to stay again on a return trip. Babs from Seattle Oct 2016

The Kiva Casita is located on a quiet street close to the center of Santa Fe's art museums and restaurants. It is a beautiful, well-maintained casita with two lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. The casita has a well-appointed kitchen with new appliances and all you need to prepare a meal at home. The property managers are very helpful and go out of their way to insure you have a great stay in Santa Fe. I highly recommend the Kiva Casita. Susan Oct 2016

The Casita was a perfect place to venture forth from in our daily explorations of this gorgeous city. We were very happy and comfortable at the Casita. it is well equipped , very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Wendy and her team were awesome to deal with and all our conversations and transactions went seamlessly. M husband even had had his early voting ballot sent to their office and they brought it over to the house. I would not hesitate to rebook the Casita! Thanks for a wonderful time! Marianne Oct 2016

The Kiva was, as advertised, perfect for two couples! It is well laid out, and well-appointed, with TVs in the living room, and both bedrooms, plenty of towels and bedding. It is also well located. only a few blocks from the Plaza. Wendy was terrific! She was easy to contact and very responsive and helpful. We were happy to know she has several properties (not limited to just Santa Fe), and we would be very happy to rent from her again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Kiva Casita. It is in a quiet location yet walking distant to the plaza and farmer's market. We even walked to and from Canyon Blvd. We found the casita to be clean and well appointed. It even has an expresso machine. We also appreciated the fact that there was washing soap and dryer sheets for the washing machine and well as other essential supplies in the kitchen...salt, sugar, dish soap. Our reservation request was promptly answered (we received a telephone call), same when we called with a simple question on our arrival and again when I emailed regarding a left-behind item. One of our favorite meals was at the Cowgirl Hall of Fame. Enjoyed the opera and the tour of the state capital. However we were a little disappointed with the OKeefe Museum as it has a special exhibit and only a few OKeefe's on display.

Five star with plenty of room. Nice amenities. Clean, quiet, very comfortable, and a very safe feeling. Close enough to the square but far enough from the traffic. We highly recommend the Kiva. Jason, April 2016

We rented this casita for five nights during the World Folk Art Festival and it was everything it was advertised to be and then some! Kiva was exceptionally clean, well stocked with everything a guest would need including all the kitchen appliances, dishes, utensils and equipment one would ever use while on vacation. The neighborhood is very quiet and within walking distance of the Plaza. The back patio is lovely and includes a table, chairs and grill. The owners clearly love their property and Two Casitas does an excellent job of managing it. We would most definitely stay here again.

Wendy gave us perfect directions to the casita and we took her at her word when she told us not to use GPS in downtown Santa Fe! What a walkable city it is. Parking at times was was difficult so we usually just walked. This was our first visit to N.M.and we loved every minute. We took a cooking class, visited most of the art galleries, toured Loreto chapel and the Cathedral, visited the botanical garden, Bandelier, and walked down into Valles Caldera. Early mornings were spent out on the patio sipping our coffee and planning the day's activities. The casita was perfect to return to each evening. Even with the heat of the days the AC cooled the entire house very quickly, and the ceiling fans kept the air moving. We cooked very few meals but found the kitchen well-equiped, but could have used another ice tray or two in the freezer. The bed we used was so comfortable be decided to replace the one at home even though the tempurpedic is only a year old. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay

We were very very pleased with our stay! Everything we could have needed was available and made us feel at home. From the fluffy towels, great appliances and dishes in the kitchen, comfy furniture and probably our favorite part was the fact that the sliding door in the living room opened up to a completely enclosed private yard in which we were able to open the door and let our collie just go in and out on his own! He loved it too and just liked sitting in the yard catching the rays!! Parking is tight if you have 2 cars or all the units are being used at one time. That would be the only problem. Great easy walk to shopping and the historical square.

The listing very accurate; described the wonderful property well and the photos were also helpful. The location was great, close to the square for an easy to walk. The furnishings were very nice and comfortable, the free wi fi appreciated, and the TV's very up to date.

I was looking for a place to stay in Santa Fe. I called and got Wendy on the phone. She's professional, warm and she couldn't have been more helpful. Wendly helped guide me to Kiva -- this wonderful condo right off of Paseo del Peralta. It was easy to find and close to EVERYTHING. The apartment was everything we could have wanted and more: bright sky lights, a king size bed, totally outfitted kitchen and an easy-to-relax-in living room. My husband and I felt so at home, we even invited friend to "our place" for dinner. If you're traveling to Santa Fe, I highly recommend giving Wendy a call.

We enjoyed a very nice stay at Kiva House over Christmas. This home has all of the creature comforts (the master bedroom bed is huge and very comfortable!!). It is a nice walk to the Plaza (restaurants and shopping) and the Canyon Road galleries (amazing art!!)Close to grocery stores as well. I would highly recommend Kiva House, and I would stay there again if I get a chance to return to Santa Fe. Santa Fe was a great place to spend Christmas! Amazing Christmas spirit. Spending Christmas Eve strolling through the Plaza and down Canyon Road is a must!! Such fun!
