This historic 100 year plus adobe home is situated on what many might call Santa Fe's most charming street. Casa Mariposa boasts the best East side location just one and a half blocks to Canyon Road and six blocks to the Plaza. Park your car and walk everywhere. Mingle with local artist at the nearby coffee shop or brows what has been voted Santa Fe's best book store, both less than a block from your home. Casa Mariposa is secluded and quite in a peaceful residential neighborhood, yet so close to all the attractions.

The house is two bedroom two baths (one full one with shower only). The master bedroom with a gorgeous hand carved Spanish head board has a king bed. The second bedroom has a hand carved traditional queen bed and the room features a romantic traditional Kiva fireplace, wood floors and coved ceilings with vigas. An additional separate small sunny room looking out to the back yard has a second sleeper sofa that is completely private. All told there are 4 beds (including sleepers) and 4 separate sleeping spaces. There is a sleeper sofa in spacious living room. This room allows all to gather comfortably. The windows look out to blooming fruit trees. Your eat-in kitchen with its Mexican tile counter tops, wooden floors and coved viga ceilings as well as sky lights make for a perfect family gathering space. Step outside into your spacious and secluded back yard, relax under a gorgeous old tree or join your friends for a barbecue. After a long day of seeing the sites unwind in your outdoor hot tub. This house like all our homes have the amenities of home including, air conditioned, WiFi, Cable TV, dishwasher, off street parking, Pets OK with permission of owner.

When traveling with the whole family or a girlfriends' reunion consider Artist A and B combined for your New Mexico vacation rental. It's no fun eating three meals a day out with tired kids. Make this home your home away from home and keep the whole family happy. With ample space and privacy Artist A and B combined features two bedrooms each with king size beds and two day beds with pop up trundles (giving you a total of 4 single beds) as well as a queen size sleeper sofa in the two living spaces. There are two bathrooms one with a bath tub and shower the other with a walk in shower.
Soak up the sun in the lovely adobe walled front yard, complete with barbecue and umbrella-ed table and chairs. Or after a hard day on the slopes warm yourself by one of the two fireplaces. The second bedroom has a romantic canopy bed with the fireplace in the bedroom and the large living room has the second fireplace. If you are an art lover you will love this adobe home. It has many great works from some of Santa Fe's best artist as well as gorgeous rugs on the hard wood and Saltillo tile floors. The furnishings are lovely and very much in keeping with the tradition of a Santa Fe Adobe home. Rio Grande has a full size sleeper sofa in the living room for extra guests.
Upstairs is the second bedroom with its King size bed and luxurious master bathroom, tub and shower. The bedroom boasts mountain views and wonderful natural light.
